Overview:
Waipoua Lodge, located just north of Dargaville, at the top of the West Coast of the North Island of New Zealand, is a 120 year old villa nestled on a ridge amongst acres of landscaped gardens, overlooking the mighty Waipoua Forest, home to the largest of New Zealand’s majestic Kauri trees.

Offering 5-star New Zealand owned and hosted accommodation, Waipoua Lodge comprises the main lodge hosting the guest lounge, dining room, sunroom with library, bar and reception, and a number of separate themed, luxury villas. The four, private, self-contained villas, each of which is unique, are housed within the original farm buildings which were completely rebuilt in 2003. Situated amongst the rolling gardens filled with native trees, shrubs and flowers, the spacious villa, each with their own private balcony or patio, offer a haven of peace and tranquillity amongst stunning, natural scenery.

In the evening, guests can enjoy a relaxing drink at the lodge bar, before sitting down to a candlelit dinner prepared by the in-house chef. In the mornings, guests can enjoy breakfast in the dining room or choose to have it served to their villa, for the ultimate in privacy.
