Any cancellation, whether it is one service or an entire booking, must be received in writing, as verbal cancellations will not be accepted.

Cancellations will result in the following fees being levied:
More than 60 days:  Forfeit deposit
Within 43-60 days:   30% of total booking cost.
Within 29-42 days:   50% of total booking cost.
Within 15-28 days:   75% of total booking cost.
Within 14 days:        100% of total booking cost.

In addition, certain suppliers may also levy their own cancellation fees outside the above-mentioned timeframes. These cancellation fees will be passed on, and are the responsibility of the customer. It is therefore recommended that prior to cancelling a service or an entire booking that you check the cancellation policy of the respective supplier, which is available from Adventure Pacific Limited. We strongly recommend that you take out full insurance, which will in most cases cover, under certain circumstances, against loss of deposit or cancellation fees. Please note that insurance premiums are non-refundable.

Amendments:
An amendment constitutes a change to a confirmed service [or services] on an existing booking. Should a customer wish to amend their itinerary, an amendment fee of NZD100.00 per booking will apply, in addition to any supplier amendment and / or cancellation fees. All amendments are on a request basis and are subject to availability. Once an amendment request has been confirmed, a revised Confirmation Invoice will be issued within 7 days.

PLEASE NOTE:
Certain suppliers may consider an amendment as a cancellation, which may incur a 100% cancellation charge. Certain suppliers may not allow amendments; therefore in these cases if customers wish to proceed with an amendment, the cancellation policy and applicable fees will apply.

Document Re-Issue Fees:
After final documents have been issued, a fee of NZD150.00 per booking will be charged by Adventure Pacific Limited in addition to any other charges levied by hotels and suppliers and covers courier costs, communication costs, & the additional time to co-ordinate the changes.

Refunds:
No refund is available for cancellations after holiday package has commenced or in respect of any tours, accommodation, meals or any other services not utilised unless there are extenuating circumstances. In such instances final decisions will be made at the discretion of the suppliers concerned. Weather interruptions to itineraries or tour packages are beyond our control. In such events we will do everything that we can to rearrange services, but cannot be held financially responsible for interruption in these circumstances. Travel Insurance is strongly recommended to cover these unforeseen situations.
